Respected Sir,
I, Ankit Vyas - resident of Surat city, am writing this note regarding an article which was published in your magazine "XYZ" on 1st April 2021 articulating the best locations in and around south gujarat.
The article includes different ways to reach surat - the biggest city of south gujarat by road, by rail. There is a statement in the article which says that the surat airport is not functional, which is not factually right. I would like to bring to your knowledge that the Surat Airport is a very busy domestic airport which connects approximately 18 cities of the entire country like New Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Goa to name a few and it handles around 15 flights on a daily basis.
I understand, in the times of digital media your magazine still holds a very good reputation among its loyal readers and has a vast number of subscribers and such incorrect information about one of the largest cities of the state will not do any good to your reputation. That is why it is essential for your magazine to know and verify the facts.
Since the artice is already published, it would be very difficult to correct the information, however you can consider to include an article of fastest growing cities of india in terms of infrastructure and upgradation of tourist spots in and around the city and have a special mention of surat which has done a commendable job in this sector. If you require any further details please feel free to contact me
Yours Truely,
Ankit Vyas
