Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my concern for wrong information published about my town in one of your leading international traveller magazine.
Today’ morning when I was reading your magazine’s latest edition, I found out that there is misleading information mentioned about Mathura which is my town. This article wrongfully mentioned that local shops have vanished in my town and only big malls are available for shopping. Due to that, anyone who wish to see or buy Mathura’s local handmade crafts, won’t be able to do this. I would like to make a correction here that there is huge local market in Mathura. Although market has been relocated to outskirts of our town for traveller convenience. I am sure your team have missed to explore outskirts area of the city.
Mathura is famous for handmade art and craft articles. Local workers have represented their talent at national and international level and have received lots of appreciation. Many local items are exported across world. Due to that, information published in your magazine is making wrong image of our town.
I request you to correct this information as soon as possible. I would recommend to revisit and explore missed part of our town and publish a new article in your upcoming edition.
Looking forward to your prompt response.
Sincerely,
Vijay Luxmi
