Dear Gatha, Hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to let you know about a major breakthrough our country has made in terms of LGBTQ laws. As you know, I had been telling you in my various letters how people from the LGBTQ community were fighting really hard for our government to leagalise sam sex couple relationships. Our government had been reluctant about giving same rights to the people in same sex realtion ships as to people in heterosexual relationship. But after putting up a long fight for their rights, The people from the LGBTQ community were able to get our government to pass the law where in people in sam sex relationships are not seen as a criminals anymore. This news has created a tremendous amount of interest amongst the citizens. The LGBTQ community has taken to the streets to celebrate their victory. People are happy for this progressive step taken by our goverment, although there are people who this this cannot be good for the country and it should not be allowed. I, On the other hand, am extremly happy as you know How LGBTQ community is close to my heart since my sister belongs to it. I am extremely happy for her as she can live happily with her partner without any fear anymore. Do let me know what you think about this news as my sister and I would be happy to know your reaction.
