Dear Mr. John, I am writing this letter to request permission for a leave-of-absence on the note of my wife's delivery. We are very much excited about welcoming the little one into this world. Consequently, we are planning to get hospitalized from Friday. As neither of our parents could travel abroad due to the pandemic situation, I have to assist her in all aspects before and after childbirth.
