Dear Sir/ Madam, I am writing this letter to discuss my grievances with you regarding the expansion of local airport which can cause safety hazard for all residents. I live in neighborhood near local airport, and recently got the news about its expansion. We residents are very much in discomfort with airport's current flight operation, where almost 50 flights arrives and departs daily, and after this expansion will reach to 150 flights as per the proposed plan, by creating two new runways which will built new out housing society. Building these two new runways closer to houses will increase our problems, where we will have to suffer with more jet engine noise because of close landing and take-off of flights and in-case of any mishap we are exposed to any disastrous situation which can be life threatening. I hope that you understand how unhappy we are with this airport expansion plan and you will publish this letter in this week's newspaper editorial to help us raise our voice and support us to stop airport authorities from expanding airport.
