Dr. Mr. Zwick, I am Margo Wright, a current student in the chemical engineering program at the Humber University. I am writing this letter to get approval on leave for my home country before finishing the final semester. My family has planned an urgent event that is very essential for me to attend, and so I have to go before the end of this semester. My brother is getting married next month, and there are lots of preparation to be done before the event. I am responsible for certain traditional and religious practices. Furthermore, I would be a great support to my parents. I request to approve 3 weeks of my time off the studies as it is sufficient for me to travel back and forth, also attend the event. I already checked with the academic advisor that in these weeks only certain practical experiments are to be repeated. Thus, there is no negative impact on my studies.
