You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. You are a member of your college/university library and have recently received an email from them asking you to return overdue books that you had actually never borrowed. Write a letter to the librarian. In your letter: • explain the situation • say what you would like them to do • ask if this problem will affect your library membership You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Librarian, Hope you are doing well. I received your email for returning the overdue books. I am writing this email in response to your email. I went through your email in detail and the list of books which you mentioned in the email was not borrowed by me. I am very much certain about it because I does not belong the program of the issued books. I request you to please go through your records and recheck for the possibilities of mismatch in the issuer information and moreover you can also contact the program coordinator of the program from which those books belong he or she might help you in tracing the books. I am little worried about my library membership. Does this situation will have the impact over my membership? because I am expecting my exams after 3 weeks and I will be in the extreme need of the library access. Please let me know if I could help you in anyway to resolve this issue. I will be pleased to contribute. Yours truly Sam
