Dear aunt and uncle,
How are you both? How is Ruby?
I hope you three are all doing well,
Since I had seen your last letter, to be honest, homeschooling does deliverer a considerable advantages for Ruby.
In my point of view, the main advantage of homeschooling is the flexibility in times, for example you could choose Ruby’s study times and the fact you don’t need to rush in the morning because Ruby study schedule is controlling by you or aunt, therefore, personally this sounds like it will bring lots of comforts and less stress in the morning for you three because I totally understand how the whole family have to wake up very early in the morning and to drive Ruby to school everyday on time, especially how you and aunt have to rush everything.
However, I want to bring out other point is that Ruby is still young and for her to homeschooling, is mean she will miss out lots of socializing around her peers and more importantly, according to from I knows, it is very important to ensure that children around Ruby age are able to form outer friendship, joining clubs, socializing, having fun, she needs to learn how to form bonds with others, to develop her social skills because without these essential activities, Ruby may suffers from socializing difficulties in the future, especially when she starts going to college or university, and this for sure will make a tremendously impact on her social life.
Under this circumstances, I believe it would be the best if Ruby could go to regular school for her to expose the wide range of problems and ideas, or even children comes from different background and ethics, to see the world and be prepare for it although it does require lots of works between you, aunt and Ruby but I sure we can work this out!
