Dear Sir, I am Manpreet, an employee in marketing department. I am writing to you regarding my inability to attend the meeting that will be held on next Saturday. I received the e-mail about the details of the presentation yesterday evening. I feel bad that I would not be able to present there because I will be on leave that day. I have to go to Goa for the wedding ceremony of my best friends. We are friends since childhood and I was waiting eagerly for this occasion. It is a big day for him and I do not want to disappoint him as we have planned things together and all the friends have prepared special performances to surprise him.
