It involved tearing down and reconstructing it anew, hence the noise. Taking this as an opportunity to apologize for the inconvenience caused, I do regret keeping you uninformed about it. I want to highlight that the work will continue for a couple of days and apologize in advance. I've duly noted the complaints and remind the contractors to tone down the repair activities, consequently reducing further issues. Undertaking installation of noise absorbing screens is already on my priority list. I will take the worker's help to install them first thing before they start their work.
