Dear Neighbour, I know we’ve not had the time to chat or hang out lately; it will be nice to bond over a glass of wine and use the avenue to catch up. I noticed your love for rap songs for an artist like Post Malone, Jay-z, to name a few; I’d say great taste in music. Lately, I have been experiencing difficulty sleeping at night; owing to the loud tunes emanating from your apartment. I will appreciate a tone down to the music at night or suggest using headsets to aid my sleep. My inability to get adequate rest affects my performance level at work and hangout times with friends and family; I dose off occasionally. The effect almost cost me my job as I was caught sleeping during my company’s conference meeting. Although, I got a pardon from my boss and promised to ensure that I am well-rested prior to work resumption days. I hope you understand the side-effect of your music jamming at odd hours and would make a substantial adjustment to aid my resting times. I recall that the housing policy does not allow for partying or encouraging loud noise so we (the neighbours / occupants) can hear each other in cases of an emergency. I recommend a reduction to the loud sound or use an earpiece to combat the resonating melody. I don’t think reporting the situation will be the best option, as I believe we are pals. I look forward to your consideration in affirmation and some bonding time over drinks or watching sport together. Best Wishes, Winifred.
