Dear Sir or Madam, My name is Smitesh Lokhande & I am the chairman of Mahatma Society, Kothrud, where I have been living since last 20 years. I am writing this letter to get to your notice that the road in front of my house is completely damaged and it needs to be urgently repaired. I reside in bungalow number 10, Mahatma Society, in the Kothrud area. The main road which connects the main gate of our society to the highway has been in a very bad shape since a couple of months due to negligence of maintenance activities by the contractor. Even though the road was just constructed in the last year, due to heavy rainfall this year, there are many potholes that have been created on it. As a result of which, there are many accidents taking place and the vehicles of our members are also getting damaged. This is causing a lot of nuisance to the residents of our neighbourhood. Despite of numerous written complaints to the exisiting company that the Council has appointed for repairing the road damages, no action was taken by them. Thus I would request you to please hire a new contractor who is prompt in his service. I am sure that you would consider my request on priority basis. Thanking you in advance.
