Dear Sir, I am Rohan working as a Software developer in your company. I am writing this letter to request you for a month leave. The reason behind it is the critical condition of my grandmother. As she is in her sixties and has certain medical issues. She had been diagnosed by blockage in one of her valves. We consulted with the cardiologist and he suggested for an immediate heart surgery. I need to be with her in these tough times and look after certain procedures regarding the same. I also assure you for all the pending tasks that needs to be completed in a couple of weeks and will try to resolve them at the earliest whenever I get free time. Moreover, A friend of mine who is a software expert will join you temporarily on my behalf so that could relieve some burden from work.
