Dear friend, I hope you are doing fine and my belated birthday wishes. I am writing here to say sorry for not attending the birthday Celebration due to my tight work schedule. I am feeling a bit down and want to express from the depths of my heart how sorry i am for not being the part of your birthday celebration. I feel extremely bad for missing to spend the special day with my dear friend and create lifetime memories. And also i should have informed that i wouldn't make it because our friendship deserves that notification. I beg for your forgiveness. I should definitely give explanation for whatever happened that day. I could not attend the birthday celebration because of my work deliverable. You see, my Boss walked in and demanded me to complete the work which is due for next week on high priority and finish it off on the same day. I happened to stay in my office beyond working hours to complete and share it with business. When i finally took my head out of the sand, i couldn't believe your birthday party was almost over.
