Dear Sir or Madam, My name is Jane Smith and I am writing because whilst preparing myself for the "Hackaton" next Friday, I accidentally lost my student identification card. The aforementioned problem has brought me several issues, such as being unable to borrow more books from the library. Also since I am a foreign student, by not having my student ID I am forced to carry my passport as my only identification method. In addition to that, it takes me extra time to authenticate my entrance to the computer lab since I must fill in a 3 pages long form. With the event only a week away, the distractions must be narrowed. It would be most convenient for me to have a new student ID as soon as possible.
