Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my annoyance with the airport authority and the service provided by the airline Check-in counters, due to which I was unable to board the aircraft.
I had scheduled a flight weeks ago from Delhi to Bussan having flight number AI-567 which was going to depart at 19: 00 Hours from terminal 3. Upon reaching the airport 3 hours prior to the departure time, I noticed that the check-in counters were only set to a minimum number of 3, which took longer than usual to process the luggage for all the domestic and international passengers. I waited most of the time in the queue and by the time I reached the counter the flight was already on the runway for departure.
This was a priority meeting for our company for which I was given a chance to take the stage for the opening speech. With me not being present, I have received a serious backlash from the higher management as they had to find an alternative. This could lead to serious repercussions including my termination as well.
With that being the seriousness of the issue, I want airlines and the airport authority to apologize to me in writing and taking the blame for creating this mess.
