Hi Jake, How have you been since we last met? I thought I will drop you a line and see if you fancy coming over for the Kite festival which is on September 18th. Every year Oregon hosts this Kite festival in mid September. Last year it was cancelled due to Covid, but Oregon has planned to host this time it with all the Covid safety protocols. So only vaccinated and masked people will be participating. This year me and my friends are planning to make some fancy kites and fly. I know your love for making crafts, so I am sure you will enjoy kite making with us. And there is a competition for best kite as well. It is not going to be easy as on the day of the festival you will get so see many unique kites which you might have not imagined. It's fun watching sky filled with hundreds of kites. Once you are here, we can visit various places in Oregon and fall in Oregon is scenic. Me and my friends go for hiking and camping very often, I would love to take you with us.
