Hi Annie,
Long time no see! How's everything? I am just fine. Since I changed schools, we haven't seen each other for a long time. I hope you and your family are doing well through the Covid-19 epidemic. I'm writing this letter thought to share with you a wonderful experience I had last week.
Do you remember Ms. Mary of our school who used to teach us Maths? I was on my way home after buying some food then I was taken aback when I saw her across the street the other day and was curious where her husband was while she was pregnant. As I was going to approach her to say hello, a group of four or five young people passed by and shoved her, causing her to drop her bag. The fruits in the bag tumbled away when the sack crashed to the ground. Perhaps she had just returned from the market. Even though the young guys were aware of this, they did not return to apologize or assist Ms. Mary in gathering her belongings. They simply returned the smile and went away fast.
You know what? The people walking on the street did not even stop the car to help Ms. Mary. Seeing that, I immediately ran to assist her in picking up the oranges that were still falling, carefully placing them in the bag, and returning them to her. I greeted her but it take a while for her to realize who I was, I think that is because I hadn't seen her since 4th grade until now. Ms. Mary thanks me and wanted to invite me to dinner to express her gratitude, but I declined and told her that it was unnecessary. She dared not pass because there were so many cars, therefore I asked her where she wanna go then I took her there; on the way, she and I had a nice conversation.
I know that my actions aren't really significant. However, I am still immensely pleased and content when I am able to help an individual in need in some small way. Wonderful things may be made from simple things, and the most essential thing is that it originates from each person's love and sincerity. When you help someone, they are more inclined to help you in return. Therefore, in the future, I will strive to accomplish more and better things to contribute to a more evolved society.
Speaking of which, I still have a lot of homework to do, therefore this ends the letter. Next time, would you like to go visit her with me? And it would be fantastic if you could also invite some of our old pals. It would be great if you send me a letter and tell me about some good work you've done.
