Letter about incorrect information published in an article

Dear Sir Or Madam, I am writing this letter to drive your attention towards the incorrect information published in an article of your monthly magazine of Oct-2021, with the heading as “Historical Places To Visit 2021”. In the article it was mentioned that Jodhpur fort was conquered by East India Company and later on it came under the rule of British crown but in reality the Jodhpur fort was never conquered by either the East India Company or British Crown. It was always a princely state, which was attacked but Britishers were never able to conquer it. An international magazine, of your reputation making such mistakes doesn’t not only distorts the history of a location but also causes long term impacts on the travel business for such historical locations. So, I would suggest that going ahead whenever you are writing an article on historical places, do consult on the local historians who would not only walk you through history but also would share interesting trivia associated with the location.
