Dear Sir, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the ongoing construction work in our locality. My name is Khurram Khan and I am a resident of Mamzar Society on 13th Dubai Street. I have been living in this colony for past 10 years. For the past few days, a lot of road repair work has been going on and it continues till the late night. However, the society residents beforehand were clearly informed that the road repair work will commence only in daytime, precisely from 11: 00 am – 04: 00 pm which unfortunately never happened. To make matter worse, the repair work continued even on a weekend. I feel that the ideal solution should be to start the shift 2 hours earlier then it is planned presently. This will not only solve the disturbing issue being faced every day by local community but will mitigate the consumption of access lighting required to carry out this task in nighttime.
