Dear Sir or Madam, I am a resident of Krishna Vihar society and I would like to draw your attention to the water scarcity that we are facing these days as summer is almost around the corner. Let me explain to you my problem in detail. The situation started at beginning of March, around the end of the first week. The water supply that usually occurred for 3 hours was reduced to only one hour per day. This resulted in reduced water storage in our society tank. There would be frequent power-cut from April which will have no schedule and this can majorly hamper the water upliftment in case there is a power-cut during water supply time. I am a person living in a family of eight people where three among us are children between 2 to 5 years. The water requirement for our daily chores is greater than others to some extent. Even after using water with caution, we fell short of it towards day end. The storage that we have with us in the flat is proving insufficient. This is resulting in an increasing unhygienic environment difficult to deal with. Hygiene is an important factor when health issues need to be considered. I would appreciate it if you could arrange underground water storage that could be used by anyone who has its requirement in case of any urgency.
