Dear Sir or Madam, I am a lifelong resident of Stanford Town. I am writing this letter to inform you of my deep concern about the complicated situation about the garbage accumulation in our city. I would like to offer some possible solutions to mitigate and hopefully solve this problem. Let me briefly explain the situation in a few words. For several weeks the recollection truck has not passed as frequently as it is supposed to do it. I do not know the reason, but the truth is that we have mountains of trash-backs everywhere in the streets. As result, pests and a terrible smell have begun to appear, making living there a really hard experience. Even walking on sidewalks has become almost impossible. As residents, we are extraordinarily worried about the consequences this situation can yield, especially regarding public health. I have been thinking about solutions to mitigate the problem, and I would like to propose two strategies. One possibility is to organize sanitization groups among residents and schedule some cleaning days. On the other hand, it can be considered the option of creating new collectors positions with fair salaries. I want to thank you for your attention to this letter.
