Dear Mary, It has been too long since we have met each other. I am so cheerful to hear that you are doing well. I am writing this letter to tell you about time of year in my area. As you can see, I live in Viet Nam which is the place adjoining Pacific Ocean. There are four seasons in a year such as Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Spring lasts from January to March. The weather is warm, humid and has drizzling rains. It is suitable for plants and flowers to grow. Besides, numerous festivals are organized in this season. Summer starts on April and finish on June. The weather is extremely hot with heavy rains and has stormy. In summer, individuals often have vacation on the beach with various activities like surfing, playing volleyball, swimming, diving and so on. Autumn begins from July to September. It is cool and dry. The landscape is really beautiful and romantic when tree’s leaves turn yellow. It is great to enjoy the mid-autumn festival. October, November and December are Winter in my zone. The weather is really cold, the sky is dark and gloomy. People may prefer indoor activities to outdoor activities. I am really into seasons as well as the weather in Viet Nam. How about you?
