History plays a vital role in providing young people with necessary information regarding their country, culture, evolution of human civilization and much more. Although people have a number of vjews and opinions, majority of young children are not keen on this subject due to its boredom and monotony. Morever, they need to remember many dates and facts or they believe that it is not relevant to their life. There are several ways to urge the children to learning the history at school. The best way to make history more interesting for children is to use the Internet and computers. For example, they can search for information about historical figures online. By doing this, children will be stimulated to do reasearch and receive more information about the history. Another method is to visit historical sites, like going to a local archaelogical site. If children have the opportunity to visit real places, they will not only experience the places, but also encourage them in history with a fun and enjoyable experience. As a result, historical places seem more real. Last but not least, children would be able to carry out the project by writing about the history. For instance, they will create a poster on a local history and display their work in the school exhibit. Then, these skills can be applied in other subjects as well. In conclution, even though history sometimes act as a non interested subject, by considering alternative methods to teach history can be make it more interesting and favourite subject.
