We did RCA for the following order and found the following things
1. The customer gets a successful order placed email on 9/15
We checked the DB and found entries for the particular order, however the payment was not processed even though there is an entry of payment made by customer to SEW advantage card (Total paid by customer $ 141).
2. Two days later, best buy share an email stating that the order has been cancelled. The customer was not able to receive the email because notification was not been functioning since the server issue that we experienced few weeks back. (This is what we are assuming and we checked the DB there was only one email shared )
3. If we go to the best buy order page we are seeing “Zero “ as the total amount and the quantity, because the order has been cancelled.
Solution -
We need to have a word with the finance team, to understand whether there is some problem in SEW advantage card and how can we process the refund.
Once the refund is processed @Aashish Kumar can cancel the rebate from Program management end.
