I am writing to report an issue with my laptop that was purchased for my work, last year since I work from home. I noticed a technical glitch today after updating the software.
Last night, after completing my work, the system prompted for a software update. Since, I will not be working until next day, I assumed it would be appropriate to update the laptop during the night. However, I noticed the speed of the laptop has dropped significantly and applications such as MS Word and MS Excel has crashed completely, failing to relaunch.
As my work entirely depends on sending documents in a timely manner, this problem has forced me to slow down resulting in delay in submitting to my clients. Moreover, the previous documents that was saved in the applications will be formatted. Therefore, I must redo the entire documentation again, which will cost more than originally anticipated.
Hence, I request the shop send an acknowledgement email and to refund partially for the damages caused by the software update. In addition to that, I would appreciate if you could fix the issue as soon as possible for the above stated reasons.
