Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing this letter to show an interest in applying for the part-time voluntary job position at the museum which I learnt about from the local newspaper. I want to do this job because, it will bestow me with a best opportunity to learn about the art and history of my country. After all, museum is a place where most valuable items of art, artifacts are displayed which are from an era, that is almost forgotten. Besides, it would also be a perfect opportunity for the community involvement. Coming to my skills and qualifications, I have good communication skills and an easy going personality. I get along easily with the visitors as, I have a previously worked as a receptionist consequently, know one or 2 dealings with different kinds of people. Based on my enthusiasm, skills and qualifications, I will definitely render great service at the museum. I will be available from 3 to 6 till the closing time.
