My name is Charlotte and I am writing to express my interest in the postgraduate program at X University. Since I was in senior high school, I have got enormous dreams of being a business consultant. As to personal background, my father has a stagnant business for years, which corroborating my objectives and motivating me to assist him as a consultant.
To actualize my dream, I enrolled at X with a major in general management at the Y University. At the end of the year, I received an honor as magna cum laude. During my studies, I have keen interests in decision making and multivariate statistics subjects because these subjects enable the company to make a proper decisions by relying on the quantitative that are less biases than qualitative studies.
This program would be a good fit for me because of my educational background, and my experience in organizations in various areas, including marketing, human resources and operations that makes me have a broader understanding in those fields. I found it extremely challenging when I was a Manager of Facilities in the Students Association of Management. These occurred during a pandemic, where Facilities members responsible for managing and monitoring the inventories were hindered due to an online learning policy. Therefore, we launched an online platform to exchange the organization’s room with a success percentage of 83%. The organizational activities refine my leadership skills, decision-making, and critical thinking.
Despite those above, to work as a consultant, I must continue to learn and expand my knowledge that will broaden my perspective.
