Dear Sir or Madam,
I have recently read about the new MSc course on Computer Science in the university and I'm really interested. I'm writing this letter to ask if an exception could be made regarding the admission requirements.
I don't have the required bachelor degree in Computer Science, in fact I've never had the opportunity to study formally so I don't have any academic background in computer related courses. However, I have always been interested in computer and I have been working as a c++ developer for the past 10 years. I consider myself a senior developer and I think I'm capable of jumping straight to the MSc program.
I'm aware that professional experience does not always replace academic studies, but I wonder if a special exception could be made in my case. I can provide proof of my work experience and perform any admission test needed.
Yours faithfully,
