Dear Mrs Barrett, I am writing this letter in response to your advertisement requiring someone to help you in your home. My name is XYZ & I am 25 years old. I live two blocks away from your apartment and I am working as a librarian in city library. I have been a very supportive person since childhood and while growing up used to help my mother in various household work. Having said that, I am quiet familiar with everyday work at home and particularly which require hard labor. If I go specific about the work, I can help with range from lawn upkeeping, household maintenance, laundry or any other work except dishwashing or wiping floors. As I am living away from my home and parents, I imagine my parents in need of such kind of help from someone while I am not around. It would be nice for someone to hep them similar to what I could do here. So community service or help is always on my mind which would give me sort of satisfaction. Although I have not done similar work recently but I am sure with your guidance, I will be able to perform satisfactory work. As my current work schedule at public library allow me take off at 3 PM, I can be available on alternate days upto 5 PM on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. I would keep my Sunday for catching up with my friend and family so will not be available on Sunday. I hope my introduction would have given you some idea on my interests and eagerness to help you.
