Introduction of student and University application

“On behalf of my generation, I sincerely apologize for having focused solely on developing the economics, brought the whole nation’s economy of the poverty, but have failed, and forgotten to provide an effective and evolutionary education for the younger generation”. For a five-year-old kid, I could barely understand that quote, and it seems more like a random small talk between a father and his own daughter on a rainy Sunday afternoon. And yet, it was carved deep in my mind by the image of the first and the only time tear shedded on my father’s face in the whole career of fatherhood. Always be reminded of the importance of education, I even had chances to witness pieces of life being ravaged by the disrespect towards education, people who unable to move on to higher education owing to bad circumstances, . . Those harshness truths have raised in me the eager to study hard, dive deeper in the knowledge ocean day in, day out, and become a successful person for myself. Although the fact that my current education field is the Faculty of Education Management, I found myself interested in business because of past experiences working as an amateur accountant in a small English Center. The job gave me basic experiences for my further career decision. I chose to study a business-related course at your university due to the fact that it has always been interesting and it offers great opportunites for future development and implementation. During my research I found out that your university offers students excellent academic quality and well-developed practically oriented education, especially the foundation course for international students who do not have chances to study the A-Level courses: Business and Management Foundation Programme. Throughout my education, I have taken part in many different activities. My volunteer activites started in summer 2014, I joined with my secondary school to visit the orphanage and have them sufficiented with food and new clothes. After this, my family started to visit different churches, orphanage housing, nursing home every summer and spring holiday. In summer 2019, I started to work for an English center, which provided me opportunities to interact with childrens, get to know their feeling and I could be able to be in their shoes to provide them help in doing the practices and relationships with teachers. The job lasted for three months only, yet, I found myself grew upp greater than before. That voluntary job offered me to practice communication skills and allowed me to deal with various situations that would come up in the working worlk. A year later, I got accepted to work as an accountant. Owing to have little knowledge and experiences in the field, most of the time working there, I learned how to do basic work, such as communicating with customers, receiving payments, settling classes, to name but a few. Three months of being an intern, the job helped develop my neworking, organisation skills, especially helped with shaping my analytical and critical thinking skills, as they allowed me to analyse and understand the final statistics. On top of this, after graduating from high school with three years of practicing group projects, hosting shows and making videos for school projects, I am working in a small volunteer group with my best friends, which mission is to support and upgrade students in primary and secondary schools’ English abilities, and I am in charge of teaching two groups of students, both are in secondary. The current job, together with past experiences in high schools and voluntary activites has polished my leadership, management, problem solving and communication skills, which I believe would be beneficial at univerisity. I want to study Business and Managemment because in the future I aim to be an independent woman, in charge of my own destiny. My keen interest in Business is demonstrated by my work as an accountant. My desire to learn new things and work out of my comfort zone is illustrated by how amazing the power of money is, how can a poverty person became a businessman by building his company; and testing myself with new experiences excites me. I am ready for this challenge in my life, and know that I will work hard, thrive and develop as a result of undertaking a course in Business and Management, as well as contribute and give back to my University community. The business world is a rapidly changing global technological environment, and more and more intelligent people are thriving in the field. Therefore, I hope that this course would provide me an insight into the real world of business by shaping my understanding of how this world worlds, how successful businessmen run their own companies smoothly and effectively. I am a conscientious, hardworking young person who is reliable and eager to learn new skills. I enjoy working in a fast paced environment and always bring a positive energy to the team. I can work well independently or as part of a larger team. I look forward to furthering my knowledge and passion by undertaking this course. I am also looking forward to experiencing all the opportunities university life has to offer.
