I am writing to bring to your attention an incident that happened on my trip to Plano city in your rental car last weekend. I would like to make some suggestions so that such things does not happen again.
My name is Manny and I am a loyal customer of your car rental service Nice ride at New park street. Although your outlet is slightly away from my residence than RideOn, I have always preferred yours because of the condition of vehicles and customer friendly services offered.
On this occasion, however, I suffered an unfortunate incident because of the negligence of store staff. As I started my journey from the store, I felt the air pressure in the front wheels of the vehicle was showing low as per the odometer indicator. I immediately stalled my journey and complained about the same on the helpline number to which the operator responded rudely and routed me to the service provider helpline. On discussing the issue, they immediately sent a technician to fix it but that took around 5 hours to replace the faulty odometer indicator due to which I had to postpone my journey for the day and return home.
Though I understand due to the large number of vehicles, the maintenance activity for each one of it is a tedious task, I feel the incident could have been avoided if someone from the team would have thoroughly checked the vehicles before handing them over to customers, who in turn use them over highways risking their lives by driving these unmaintained vehicles.
I would suggest you, kindly review your policies around vehicle inspection before delivery in order to avoid such incidents in the future and would appreciate if you can waive a day’s rental from the contract, which was wasted in getting the vehicle in the right condition before we can hit the road.
I hope you will take this into account to avoid further mishaps.
