I have been affected badly by this service disruption, as this is the only mode of transport for me and many community members in my area. Let me tell you the situation in detail. The trouble started two months ago when Yarra trains stopped servicing Hawthorn and nearby suburbs. Yarra trains announced on their website that they are facing financial difficulties amid a reduced number of passengers on the Hawthorn line. I understand that the Hawthorn line is not very profitable for the company, but if you extend this line to Boxhill, It will increase the passengers, and it will increase the profit of your company in the long run.
