Dear Sir or Madam, This is to bring to your attention a problem that I recently faced when my flight TK347 landed at the London Heathrow airport at 13: 15 hours last week, on Sunday, March 9. When I boarded the Turkish Airlines' flight at Ataturk airport, Istanbul, I registered my backpack as well as my laptop bag as cabin luggage and carried them both with me onto the plane. The eight-hour-long flight was not only exhausting but also mentally taxing as I was anticipating seeing my in-laws at the airport upon my arrival after having been away from the country for two months. In my tired and sleep-deprived state, I left my laptop bag next to the water fountain in Wing J of "Arrivals" and hopped into our car and went home. The laptop bag contains my recently-purchased 13-inch MacBook Pro with hundreds of pages of my doctoral research as well as important and legal documents, such as my Study Permit and health insurance card, as well as the notes provided by my supervisor on a draft of my dissertation. Needless to say, all of these items are of immense importance to me and I will lose years of hard work if I do not find the bag. Therefore, I would really appreciate it if you would kindly get in touch with your lost-and-found department to check if someone has brought back a bag that holds these contents, and if not, check the surveillance footage in Wing J of the Arrivals section to locate the bag.
