I am writing this letter with great regret to inform you that I would not be able to join you for the movie plan that we made a few days back. First of all I would like to apologize for the last minute cancellation. I understand that with this news all your excitement would have crashed to the ground. I am deeply sad and remorseful for causing you this distress and inconvenience. The reason why I called off for the movie night is my health. I have been feeling unwell for the past few days. My body was aching immensely and I was also having a high temperature. Thus I decided to book an appointment to visit the doctor and have my check up. My reports came the following morning and I found out that I am COVID positive. Due to this I have been asked to quarantine for 14 days. I know you have bought the tickets and made plans for the same. Therefore, I want you to enjoy the movie and not waste the ticket. I suggest you take your mother or sister for the show and have a gala evening with them. There is also another option. You can sell the tickets online and get the spent money back. I again apologize to you for whatever trouble I caused and being a spoilsport. I promise you to make up for the situation that was caused once I am up and about. Say hi to anu and aunty from my side.
