Dear Marcos, I am writing to thank you for your invitation to visit you in Australia. Unfortunately I am not going to be able to go this year due to Covid-19 and all the problems this pandemic brought to our lives. Let me explain my situation in more detail. Since the start of the pandemic, I am not getting freelancer jobs which was the way of me saving money to travel. Beside this, the borders in Canada are closed to unessencial travel and if I am lucky enought to leave this country I might not be able to enter again. So, I am trying to be safe during this uncertain times. Can I suggest that we postpone this trip to the next year? I am pretty sure that allthis will end soon. The population are getting vaccinated extremely fast and probably they will lift some restrictions for vaccinated travellers. I really miss you and I hope we can have our good times as soon as possible. Please let me know. Your friend, Joao
