Dear Sir/Madam, I am very much interested in Sustainability Energy (M. Eng. ) program at Carleton University. I was really impressed with the course outline as detailed in the University website. However, I fell short on the admission requirement been that I graduated with a GPA of 2. 73 in Mechanical Engineering from a Nigerian University in 2001. I have over 19+ years of working experience working as a project engineer on CAPEX projects in the oil and gas sector of Nigeria. Over these past 19 years, I have had the opportunity of working with oil servicing companies and international oil companies like Shell and Total. I believe I have a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring to this program Please advise me if my years of experience could bridge this gap. I am currently working on an offshore design, fabrication and installation project with Total Nigeria. I will like to know if I stand a chance of getting admission with my current status. I will also appreciate if you can throw more light on the duration of the program including every other important thing I need to know.
