Government plans to construct an airport in your locality. Write a letter to the authority and explain where you came to know about this, describe negative effects of the airport construction and ask them to consider an alternate site for the construciton.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this letter regarding the proposed construction of airport in Ram Nagar. I got to know about these developments from our Public Works Department office which was asked to identify the land for carrying on the construction activities. However, I regret to inform you that the land which has been proposed by the department is not ideal. The reason for this it that there is only a single lane road which connects the area to the city centre. With the airport getting operational the traffic is going to increase, consequently, there is going to be an extremely high probability of the road getting jammed. Moreover, there is a hospital and a school on either side of the road and with an increase in vehicles plying on the road, there is going to be sound pollution which will definitely deter the operations at the above mentioned institutions. I understand that the development of the airport will bring employment and recognition to our small region, therefore, I kindly request you to consider the land which lies 20 miles from the city centre on the NH1 highway. As per my understanding, this will be an ideal location for the airport as it lies on the highway road, and the road has few motels as well where the passengers can avail food and accommodation.
