Dear Mr. Sullivan, My name is Mrs. Emily Chu, I am 40 years old and I live in London. I am writing to apply for the vacant position as Spanish instructor that was advertised by you on the most recent edition of the magazine Teaching Professional. My education consists of a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in History of Spanish Literature and Spanish Language. I taught English in High School for a short time as a temporary teacher during my staying in the Barcelona city. Back in London, I was hired permanently to teach Spanish at the Ashburn College, but after five years I won a post as interpreter at the Spanish Embassy. There I have been working since 2006 but now I am looking for something different. I would really appreciate it if you considered giving me an interview.
