Everything can have both positive and negative sides, but, to become an indispensable need in the recent world, computers and the Internet must be more beneficial than its drawbacks. We still can deny the shortcomings of the Internet. It generated new terminologies in the 20th century: Hackers, cyberbullying and identity thieves. Those terminologies has became the terror and anxiety with many Internet user. But, the Internet itself is not bad, it was devised for supporting purposes, although after its generation, some bad people use it for negative purposes. The internet was first invented in 1969 by the United States to allow computer users to communicate with other users from a far distance. Time flies, computers gradually advance and provide users with many convenient benefits. It starts to become more popular that almost everyone has once at home because of its indispensable benefits. Now, in most of the work, the computers and Internet are required due to its convenience in searching jobs and faster to work with its tools, specially in the pandemic of Covid 19, when we have to work from a far distance. Moreover, the Internet is a perfect place to connect with people. We can share our pictures, comments and chat with different people. There are many hot apps which help us make friends and nowadays, we can even facetime them to have a realistic experience. We can easily read the news on the Internet to catch up with the trends. In the Covid 19 pandemic, the use of the Internet is more necessary than ever. All in all, the Internet was invented for positive purposes, despite the negative problems on the Internet, it is still necessary for us especially in the time of pandemic because its benefits are higher than those drawbacks.
