Dear Sir or Madam, I hope this letter finds your well. I am writing to you about my experience on sharing a room with another student here in the college dormitory. I am a freshman here sharing a room with a junior student from the university. I am having a difficult time dealing with my roommate since we both have our differences that we can never reconcile. She wakes up early in the morning to jog around the campus and turns off the air-conditioner when she leaves even if I am still asleep. I find it very rude since it gets really warm in the room most especially during summer. Most of the time, she invites her friends over while I am studying so I cannot concentrate on my studies. I tried to stay at my corner desk but their voices were just too loud. I would like to request to be transferred to another room, preferably a single room with no roommate. I am willing to pay additional cost for a single room rather than saving on accommodations but suffer the consequences. I am hoping for our kind consideration on this matter. Thank you.
