Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter: Explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum Describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful Give details of when you would be available for work

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to let you know that I would like to apply for some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum in Bridgetown. Growing up as a kid, I was always fascinated with the history behind the artifacts and antiques in the museum. It would hence be an honour to humbly contribute in whichever way possible. Let me explain to you in detail about some of my skills and qualities that can be useful while working at the museum. I possess excellent knowledge about the computers and can easily deal with any technical softwares or systems used for administrative purposes. I also have a fairly extensive administration & people management experience which can be a great asset to desk or clearical work. Would you kindly provide me the details of the available work at the museum? I can work during the weekends which are fairly open, preferably between 8am to 5pm. I can also spare a couple of hours on Wednesdays or Thursdays between 6pm to 9pm. Please do let me know whichever works fine for you. Thank you for your consideration. Yours faithfully, John Doe
