Dear Jay,
I hope you are in the best of health and in high spirits.
It’s been a year since we met. I’m glad to get your invitation to visit South Korea. I’ve never been there, and so I’m writing to ask you for more details about the trip.
Firstly, please let me know about the preference of your culture for a gift. I don’t know much about Korean culture, so I want to hear from you what kind of presents you guys like the most?
Secondly, I’m to enquire about the weather, being a Canadian I’m used to cold weather, but I have a paucity of knowledge about Korean, so let me know if need to pack my warm clothes also? Moreover, I googled about the ongoing activities and found that Itaewon is the favourite place of foreigners for festivals and stuff is that true?
Lastly, as you know, I am fond of food and love to taste different dishes. Please confirm if I can try Indian Chicken biryani and Nihari there?
I can’t wait to see you.
Your friend,
Smith
