Hi Ashish
Thanks for your letter, I am glad you have start working at genpact in the Marketing department. I just thought I will give you my views on the issues you have mentioned.
I had a similar issues when I had start working in Igate (now known as Capgemini) about 2 years ago. Actually when Igate was taken over by Capgemini then new rules and regulations were stickly follwed. Even few of procedures are totally changed and more new guidelines come into the process. when this changing process were going on then we all have do over time, working in weekends without pay. But we all do our best and after sometime every thing slow down and we get back to over normal schedule of working.
I would recommend you sticking to the job and watch properly every situation clearly and understand the current scenerio. Talk to your manager and get clear vision of unpaid overtime and asked them till when this issues will be resolved.
Good Luck with everything, let me know how it all works out
Thanks and Regards
