1. Write a letter of request for funding from faculty

Dear Mr. Nguyen, I am writing this letter on behalf of FELTE Youth Council to respectfully requesting your faculty’s funding consideration of $2000 for our project entitled Wonderland. Your support will allow us to implement the project, thus fostering a sense of wonder for the receiver and bolstering the faculty’s image. Our project aspiration is to help a nine years old girl whose name is Hoang Thi Hien with cancer in Lai Chau, Vietnam. She is currently in hospital in need of surgery; h0wever, owing to the indigence of her family, her surgery may never happen. Besides, if her health recuperates, her ambition of going to school for knowledge acquisition and socialization will be fulfilled. Hence, it would be extremely worthwhile if our project is approved. With the assistance of your faculty, she can definitely undergo the surgery. Therefore, not only will her well- being be revitalized but also, she can commence going to school. Furthermore, the remained funding after her operation will partially alleviate her family condition. In terms of your faculty, your benevolence will accumulate attention from people as well as journalists. This will be an ideal opportunity to advertise your faculty image among students.
