Dear Ms. and Mr. Smith, I am your neighbor downstairs and write to complain about the noise created by your pet. The dog often barks without any apparent reason in the middle of the night. I assume the dog is kept right in a room above me because the bark is astonishingly loud and clean. Moreover, the creature likes to jump and run around. Those actions are clearly heard in my apartments and I cannot sleep well. In fact, my therapist says: if I continue having problems with rest and sleep, the appearance of illnesses and health problems is almost inevitable. Furthermore, I work as a surgeon and my job requires from me to alert and focused but because of the noise from your flat, I cannot sleep and it has started to affect my performance. There are several actions that can be done about this situation. There are services available that may train your pet to behave well. If it is too expensive, you can do it yourself as well. If the expected results are not achieved within a month, you may give your pet to a local shelter where the vets will take care of it. Otherwise, I will complain to your landlord and the community committee. I am waiting for your prompt response. Sincerely yours, Eugene Dubinchuk
