In recent years, it has become rather popular for young adults to take a hiatus after finishing secondary school. It is not the case that wealthy individuals want to travel as a destination whereas impoverished young adults, despite attending universities for a period of time, prefer to work. In both circumstances, I believe there will be a variety of advantages and disadvantages. The causes for this problem might include the understanding that joining university courses limits one's knowledge and experiences, as opposed to working or going on a trip that broadens one's perspective on life. The personal resources of the young adult will be better since they will be able to develop as independent persons in both circumstances. Students who choose to work or explore the beauty of the world receive practical experience and understand the meaning of life rather than wasting time on papers or projects. On the other hand, the drawbacks of both instances may discourage people from pursuing their studies. They may abandon their studies in order to enjoy their daily lives. Furthermore, after spending a significant amount of time in the professional sector or on adventures, individuals may have difficulty adjusting to the academic atmosphere. As a result, individuals may believe that, despite attending university, it is preferable to pursue a profession in a certain field or do something new that would enrich their lives. However, fewer people will choose to take a hiatus in order to improve their future academic qualifications as a major necessity. Finally, allowing young individuals to take time off after finishing secondary school is not a bad idea. They can argue that devoting time to obtaining new experiences is one method to enjoy life before entering a situation that differs significantly from the prior research.
