Today I'm going to talk about a strange custom from our country that can amaze most foreign visitors. That practice is that people should abstain from the women who are recovering from childbirth. Although these days, this convention is no longer taken seriously, it still exists in some parts of the country. The elders believe that women who have just given birth often bring bad luck to those who come into contact with them, or even just seeing them by chance. Therefore, reluctantly except for their family members, others should avoid visiting those women. Knowing about this strange custom in Vietnam has made foreign tourists open-mouthed. Because as I know, in their countries, when a woman gives birth to a baby, friends and relatives will come around and congratulate. They think the woman has suffered the hardship of being pregnant for nine months, so it's worth celebrating for her successful mission to give the world a life.
