Today family members do not eat meals together. Why does this happen? Is this a positive or negative development?

Family has always been something dear for most people, however, nowadays family meals are being seen less than it used to. There are certainly some reasons for it and I will discuss about it along with providing a final verdict in this essay. It can be inferred that the main reason that causes this problem is how society progresses. In other words, it is because of how people go to work and their mindsets that affects the current situation, urging for more issues to come. For instance, most working class individuals tend to spend more time at work or school than at home, doing job-related tasks rather than domestic ones, this allows for the loosening of familial relationships leading to less occasions of eating together. Furthermore, it is also due to how youngsters prioritize individuality in this era that supports the trouble, a result of either outside influence like friends and the internet or lack of childcare. Generally, this can be easily concluded that this is a terrible trend for many and i agree with them. One outcome is the crumbling of households aided by growing misunderstandings between members, piling up frictions as time passes and eventually collapse given enough time. Additionally, children are especially prone to such impacts that could alter their personality for bad, for example, delinquency or degraded self-esteem giving society more things to deal with. It should also be noted that, it can sometimes be invenitible for peers when guardians are busy or kids are academically burdened to make allowances for such events. In conclusion, the statement is true to a moderately large extent on account of many factors, mostly from the public. I believe that this is undoubtedly a negative development as many troubles could arise in the future and that parents and governments should resolve to some measures.
