There is a variety of difference when one works in a big company versus when one works at a small company. To start with, based on my experience and peer review, the learning opportunities seems to be high in small companies. In contrast to this, the big companiees are focused on getting the job completed than to impart the knowledge to its employess especially the new joiners. Another contrasting feature is in the work culture. People tend to blend in and bond well in small companies, given the small number of people working there.
